Sampo Solo is the standalone little sibling of Sampo Cloud. It's designed for one machine, a folder of programs, no cloud, and no account. Just run it on any computer (Windows, Linux, or even MacOS) connected to your control. Solo uses the same RS232 and FTP engine as the Sampo Cloud station.
Free. Forever. For both personal and commercial use. Running a production shop on it is fine by us.
Since it's free, we cannot offer a dedicated support channel for anything like finding serial settings, setting up cabling, or a figuring out why a control will not cooperate. If your shop absolutely needs hands-on help getting set up, we can discuss a support arrangement.
We'll always fix any bugs if and when we find them since we just want to build a great tool.
Run Sampo Solo on the PC beside the control and drop your programs in its programs folder; the station window opens fullscreen. Pick a program and hit Send; it goes out over the RS232 cable. Receive captures a program off the control into the same folder.
The classic Fanuc punch settings are 4800, 7 data bits, even parity, 2 stop bits, XON/XOFF flow control. Sampo Solo's setup offers exactly those as its defaults; confirm against your control's parameters before the first transfer.
It is free forever for personal and commercial use, nothing feature-gated and no licence to buy. The catch is support: bugs and defects get fixed, but everything else is on you, or on paid consulting if you want our help getting set up.
